Thank you Sir! Ernie |

NO!!!! The program files themselves are in that folder. If you delete it none of your MTU programs will work!!!

You might want to think long and hard on this because c/program files... is where the actual Hoster.exe program is located, not to mention a half dozen files Hoster needs to run.

Ernie,
You want to delete the "C:\Program Files\Micro Technologies Unlimited\Hoster" folder to get rid of your old Hoster data and not delete your other MTU programs. Jim

Ernie,
Only delete any folders under C:\Program Files\Micro Technologies Unlimited\Hoster and not the Hoster directory itself. That is where the Hoster program files are located.

MTU left some things in when they disabled the conversion for ZIP (HDZIP) to MP3+G (HDMP3G). This is what is causing the playlist to change types. You will need to either convert all your ZIPs to MP3+G with Songverter or re-enter the song in the playlist each time you open it. This is until MTU can fix this in the next release (4.04). They have been looking at a couple of probems this week. Admin has been saying they may put out a quick release to fix these immediate problems then get back on the Video.

HDMP3G Files Won't Song search
I found the problem is because They Have underscores involved in the title and artist. I've_Got_A_Crush_On_You. Or Stewart,_Rod. The Search will not Recognize The Request Unless It Is Exact. Do I Have to change every entry or is there a work around? If I Use TheBook ID or Brand it will show the infoand I can add the song to the play list just fine

Use multiple songs mode, highlight/select the songs and hit "apply". The headers will be changed at this point. I've done this a number of times to change different fields. You have to be careful when doing other fields but title and artist are pretty straight forward. Sam |

Do I have to change every file seperately?

An excellent program for renaming files is an app called Flash Renamer. It cost about 20 bucks, but worth every penny.

But once again, when you rebuild it, will it replace the underscore??? I have been doing mine for the last two weeks, one at a time in Edit songs. There has to be an easier way. I use to do it in access in about five minuetes, but it always comes back when you rebuild.
Thanks, Ernie |
