Talked to a computer expert friend of mine that is making me wonder if it is HD space and RAM memory that's at fault and not CPU speed. He says unless you're doing major business functions that use more than one program at a time any computer that runs at 450 mhz should be able to run any music oriented program. Just wondering if that is the case. I am running my system at AMD K6-2 500 mhz with 64 mb ram & a HD that is virtually full- although I was able to free up a little over 2 Gigs of memory on my D drive.
