Microstudio 3.004 compatibility with KHPro v.2009
 

Does anybody know if the new Microstudio™ 3.004 Software is backward compatible with KHPro V.2009?

Compatible how? It should be, but since you are 2 major versions behind I would look to see what they have added or improved and seriously consider upgrading your KHPro as well.

KHPro 2.009 was released in August, 2001. That's a LOOOONG time ago. :r

You should be able to run KHP 2.009 from Microstudio 3.004. If not, you can run it outside of Microstudio just fine, create your CDG songs, then use them in Microstudio. There are some slight benefits to having everything integrated, but not required.

As ddouglass suggested, read the upgrades from 2.009 to 4.105.

There has been a lot of improvements... 66 changes in all. 2.009 is quite primative by today's standards. I expect you would turn out better songs, faster and be happier doing them with 4.105. :w
