Windows7-Where is the Song folder located in Hoster?

I just got new computer from MTU and am having difficulty copying my backup "Song" file to the right location. I copied my backup "Song" folder to C:\Hoster\MTU\Songs and when I opened Hoster the songs were not there but they did show in Microstudio program but had no Book ID. I then copied the backup "Song" folder to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents and opened Hoster and again no songs showed up. I rebuild the song database and still have no song in Hoster. Where do I copy my backup "Song" folder to? Thank you for your help.

First make sure you do the steps in the following link:

Nothing should go in the Documents and settings as Windows 7 and Vista both hide anything put in there.

What are you copying your backup songs folder from?

If by backup song folder you are referring to the KMA files you are transfering from another computer, then you can put them anywhere you desire. If you are putting them on the C: drive then the place to put them is C:\MTU\Songs\.
Then make sure when you rebuild the database that the folders listed are the correct path to where you put them.

I hadn't even noticed that. The Windows 7 part was a recent addition as there are some locations for items that changed between Vista and Windows 7.
