Burning a karaoke VCD directly

hey, i hate being a newbie at a forum because i know this is probably a stupid question, but i'll ask anyway.

I really dont want to go out and buy the VCD or CD+G or whatever, is there anywhere I can download songs I want and then just burn them without copying a disc, just picking songs of my hard drive?

First, MTU's software does not support VCD discs, only CDG.

Second, to legally add songs to your library, you first buy the CDG discs. Then, you can copy individual songs from those discs onto a new custom assembled disc holding just your favorites.

There are two services that offer custom discs with just your songs. Going price is $5.00 per song (some minimum). Check out Priddis Music, and Stellar Records.
