Disc plays in PC but not Karaoke Player

I need help please!

I purchased Microstudio so I can burn karaoke CD's. I first save them as .bin files, then I used Microstudio to burn it. On my computer they play and work great! On my karaoke machine and my friend's karaoke machine, it says "no disc".

Help!

Thanks,
Shane

First thing that pops into my mind is you aren't using CDRW media are you?

Many Karaoke players won't recognize the CDRW format.

Hey All,
Just a note to say that the last disc I made with Microstudio didn't play on 2 other karaoke machines.
One KJ ran Compuhost which will normally play any CDG disc and the other
KJ used PCDJFX, which will normally play bin. files.
So I don't know what format Microstudio had made the disc in.
I an using 4001.
I don't use RW discs except for movies, which when I am sure they are OK I transfer to R anyway.
Incidentally I appear to be the only KJ locally who uses Hoster, I have seen at least another 4 different host programmes being used.
Regards from across the pond.

Re: IT WORKED!!

I just wanted to follow up on this thread and let everyone know...IT WORKED! I went to the store and bought regular CD-R's and burned the disc and it plays beautifully in both karaoke players...so problem solved. Thanks so much again!!

Garry, Microstudio burns the CDs in either CDG (which is the same as BIN) for Karaoke or for audio uses CDA (which is WAV).
