Sputtering Noise With Px-712a

When I Play A Track From The Plextor Drive I Have A Sputtering Noise. I Can Import Track To The Hard Drive Or In Hoster And The Track Plays Perfect. Anyone Have Any Ideas What The Problem Is? Thank You

So this is only when you are playing the Track from the Plextor drive, in Hoster or Microstudio?

Does this occur in the Audio, or is it the drive actually making a noise?

Re: Sputtering Noise With Px-712a

Hello Bryan
Thanks For Responding.
I Am Very Sure It Is The Drive Itself. I Was Doing A Show And I Was Loading A Cdg From A Disk While Someone Was Singing And It Made A Terrible Screeching Sound And Did Not Load. The Next Morning I Replaced The 712a With My 16/10/40a Plextor And Everything Done Perfect.
I Loaded A Cdg While Playing Cdg And Wma In Hoster And It Done Perfect
I Played A Audio Track Directly From The Drive And It Done Perfect.
I Played A Cdg Track Directly From The Drive In Microstudio And It Also Done A Perfect Job.
Thanks Again

Meester Ham,
Can you give Plextor a call at 800-886-3935, they will beable to go through some tests to see if the drive is bad or not. Please call them and let me know what they find.
