Re: Microstudio

I think it recommends, not a requirement. Besides, I think it is larger than a floppy.

I recommend, burn the program to a cd....... also select the entire text of your e-mail with the registration code, personal download link, etc. and paste it into a word file an put it on the cd as well. That way if you have a crash, you will have a copy of the information to reload.

Re: Microstudio

I'd guess it is trying to go into floppy install mode because it was not able to connect with MTU to register. Sure sounds like that scenario.

Re-boot and try again. Maybe that will get you out of that loop, if that's what's happening, and you're trying to install on a pc that is connected to the internet..Might also shut off any firewalls you might have active.

Re: Microstudio

I found the problem...........you have to be on line when installing and it will by-pass the back-up thing..............done of it matters tho............I have three different reader/writers and neither will work with the MTU software.............it would have helped to know that before buying..............gotta buy MTUs device if I want it to work.

Re: Microstudio

As George Stated, the only time it states anything about a Floppy is when it tries to go to the Floppy Install.

Connect the computer to the Internet before starting the install and make sure there is no firewall blocking it from going out and you won't see this again.

Re: Microstudio

Hi' barry7x
it tells you on web site to download demo first to see if your burners are compatable with micro studio, but dont fret, the next update will work with most any burner. Bob

Re: Microstudio

The Plextor brand of drives are the only ones that work for CD+G, this is not our doing. We are trying to make other drives work, with the next version, but this is taking longer than planned.
