Sharing of songs
Sharing songs or discs is ILLEGAL under any definiton of the law that I am aware of. You need to buy your original copies from the manufacturer or a distributor. Swapping with others, making copies and giving or selling them, etc. is illegal.

There was another US court decision last week that upheld that ISPs are liable for illegal activity that they make possbile through the use of the ISP network. Can't find the link right now, but I'll look around. The case involved record companies suing ISPs for allowing illegal file sharing.
