Multiple Singer Screen Monitors
At the moment, I am using a Dell Desktop as my show computer.
I use the VGA output for my screen and the built in HDMI output for the singers screen. I would like to ALSO show the singers screen on the Big Screen behind us and perhaps the smaller tvs surrounding the bar. I have a couple of different types of HDMI splitters that at the moment are not working (may just be a windows setting) but was curious if anyone else is running multiple monitors and how you are doing it? Thanks! |

Re: Multiple Singer Screen Monitors
We still use coax at the club I work. Easiest and cheapest way to split to multiple screens. HDMI to converter. Converter to RF modulator to splitter to TV's. Is it high def at the TV's? No, but karaoke graphics are 16 bit graphics anyway so it really doesn't matter - however even the hd videos look just fine along with my picture slideshow between songs.

Re: Multiple Singer Screen Monitors
I have not tried this, but one thing you could try with two external monitors: Place the Show Display (big screen) on the screen behind you, and then undock and stretch the Preview Window onto the Singer's Display. You can turn off the Marquee and the Singer Name Display (SND) for the Preview, which the Singer probably doesn't want to see anyway.
If you try this, post back here to let us know how it worked. Thanks. One drawback, however, is that Video files are not played in the Preview window. If this is a problem for you, then this is not going to work. You might have to resort to external splitters that will allow you to send the same output (2nd monitor) to multiple screens. |

VGA splitter to HDMI VGA splitter to Yellow RCA Yellow RCA splitter to RF Modulator. Can now handle any video needs and all the splitters fit nicely into a 1u rack shelf! Thanks Lonman! While I have your attention, how are you doing a slide show between songs? I saw where Roy was creating a powerpoint presentation and (Im assuming) converting it to HTML. Is this how you are doing it? Thanks for all the help everyone! |

Go to Tools / Show Display / Intermission tab Graphics area click image (this will bring up a window), select the folder with your pics and click on the first file and open. Postion set to Fit Rotate delay I set to 5 Transition I prefer Random And check random order! Now you have your slideshow in between singers.
