I use OtsDJ as well. But for DJing. Though I could, I don't use it for Karaoke.

I don't use it FOR karaoke, I use it for my filler/transition music between singers.

We have a lot of the "under the hood" code done for shifting between the views (Lyrics, Intermission, Audio, Video). It's complex, and we don't have the crossfade code done yet, but hopefully won't encounter any major problem. With Vista we NEVER KNOW what random critter will come up and bite us unexpectedly!

As far as right now, the only way I know to do it is using your mixer control and fade the volume down and back up.
Dale was right when this was posted. However, due to major setbacks from Vista and insuring the lyrics are in sync, in MY desire to release 4.10 with 34 new-upgrade-fixes added that fix some of the 4.6a problems, I postponed crossfade to 4.11.

We are hoping to release 4.10 next Monday after our Beta testers get a look at the "Final Release Candidate", hopefully today or tomorrow.

Once we get crossfade added and working with SYNC'd lyrics, it opens up a whole new level of removing "dead air". All the parts are in place in the Show Display views waiting for us to finish them.
