Ripping CD+G's to my Hard Drive

Will this software allow me to rip CD+G's to my hard drive using a CD-ROM drive? Do I even need this software to do that?

Thanks

Yes, but...

This software will do that.

You need the right kind of cd-rom or you are out of luck. (no matter what the software is for ripping cdgs) You can see discussions about this all over the website and in these forums. MTU will sell drives that not only work but are guaranteed to work because they have been tested for this precise purpose by MTU. That's what I did, and I'm not sorry.

So what about the Hoster software? That sounds more like my thing but will it rip files and would I need a specialized CD-ROM drive? The ROM drive I have now is a CD-R/CD-RW/DVD.

Thanks

Once again you will need a plextor drive, like the ones certified by MTU.

Condensed Files

A quick note about Hoster from someone who doesn't own it.

I think that Hoster will not rip cdg files. (It rips condensed files kma files.) I think it will not burn anything. I think that to create cd's your only choice with this Company is Microstudio

(corrections welcomed)
