cd+g files won't burn to disk

Hello-

When I create a disk it runs through the process fine and says that the burn was successful but when I try to play it in Microstudio no data registers. I'm using a Plexwriter drive and Maxell CD-R music CD's.

This is a new problem. Everything was working fine until I installed a new hard drive and reinstalled the Microstudio program. I'm running version 2.315, which I know is old, but it wasn't a problem before. I've tried writing at auto speed, 4x speed, and 1x speed. I've had "enable caching" on and off.

Any ideas?

Not saying that this is the fixit. I would like to know, it wasn't stated, if the disc plays in any player at all, karaoke or otherwise.
