Trouble on credit page causing crashing

Is anybody else experiencing this problem. I have used the program for years and have never changed the text color from white on the credits page. I now find it necessary to change the text color to black, however everytime I hit the text color button kpro crashes. Any ideas?

Jim

What version? What operating system?
I tried this and did not have a problem.

I just checked all the other color selection buttons. I also have a problem with the text color on the Title page. I can't change that off white either.
The text color on the actual lyrics page I can change.

I tried restarting the computer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Those didn't make a difference.

Any other ideas?

Jim

Update your Windows. This will usually solve those kind of problems or at least it does for the rest of the MTU programs. I would suggest doing the Custom updates from the Microsoft Update web page (in your Start Menu) as the Auto update does not do anything but critical updates for security reasons.
I am not a proficient user of so KHPro so maybe some one else has a good idea or has seen this problem.

Updated windows (several updates). Unistalled program-- reinstalled. Worked.
Shut down computer overnight. Turn on computer next day, try using program, same problem as before - program shutting down when I hit the color picker for text on title screen.

Other color pickers work on different tabs.

Any other ideas.

Jim

This sounds like some other program is grabbing the control of Color changes. You don't have any things like Microsofts Color Control Aplet or Color Control Systems installed do you?

Not that I'm aware of.
I'm defragmenting the drive and see if that makes any difference.
I'll report back on Monday.

Submit a Support email ticket to MTU since no one else has answered you and I am just not that familiar with the program.
I don't know if this could cause it, but in one of the other programs (Hoster) one customer was having a color problem and it turned out to be a setting in IE. In the Internet Options on the General tab he had the Accessability/ Ignore Colors from web pages checked. As soon as he turned that off it worked right.

Update on problem.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times....still had problem.
Had version 4.107 and so I installed that version....works with this version.
Maybe I'll just stay with the previous version.
