cant burn past #9 cdg

I am presently using disc clone but cant burn cdgs past #9. Ihave also attempted golden hawk and disc juggler.I have yamah 8824ez internal burner which is supposed to support cdg burning. How come I can burn up to # 9 just fine ,after #9 everything graphiclyi s unreadable. These are full purchased versions of programs. I have also tried to change write speeds but this did not help. I would like to buy program from MTU but am afraid I will run into same problem. Is it my burner,Myprogram or possibly my computer.HELP Steve

Steve,

Nobody using MTU products is reporting your problems. I believe you’ll have to address those issues with [competing products] as these Forums are for MTU problems.

I, for one, have never had a problems copying as many CDG’s as I want using MicroStudio.

Good luck,

Jon

your not alone!

reposted from can not get 2.4 to work

HA!HA!HA
There is no way to stop it from playing!
It would be nice if you would access my
* cddb * it is here in windows common files.
after MMJB looks up the track info on the net,
then windows CD player also has the tracks
names as well. that would save hours of typing
the track names and band name ETC.
I also got an error after track 9 too LOL.
and also can not get it to read at 1X or slow
it down it reads a 75sec track in 5 seconds
with this drive and that speed it just makes
a mess of the graphics.
looks like we have some programing yet
to do. LOL
well I have to say that this 2.400 IS MUCH
BETTER THAN THAT LAST ONE!!!! I tried
two years ago!!! whew !!!

notes:
Yamaha CRW-F1
Test CDs
Information society on tommy boy 9 25691-2 track ten crashed!
Fleetwood Mac Behind the mask WB 9 26111-2

When the graphics break up after a certain track, this is due to the Yamaha, Older HP and Sony recorders. We have always known this to happen with those brands. The new HP and Sony drives won't even do Karaoke now. There is no way to make that drive work, you will need to purchase a new Plextor brand of drive for it to correctly work.

Lightbulb Yamaha after track 9

This happen to me with my Yamaha 3200E when I was using Me, try to disable the DMA on your cd drive & your hard drive.
Try this option before changing to a Plextor.

Let me know if it works,
Michel:

Lightbulb After 9...

Steve,

Can you please give me more info like; Wich Windows version your using? The Yamaha burner's seems to be allergic to DMA, I own the Yamaha 3200E & lucky me it works fine with the graphic.
I tried the new CDR-F1 (I believe) & it's not as nice with the graphic.
Your problem happen to me when I was using Me & the DMA enable on my cd burner.
After the 9th song I just couldn't read! Solution? I disable the DMA on both Hard drive & Cd burner.

Try to disable on the hard drive & the burner first. Remember it's the secondary EDI controler for the cd player/burner

Good Luck

Lightbulb disable DMA with 98

Steve try this,

Start, Control Panel, System, Hardware..., click on the + in front of CD-Rom, click on the Yamaha... Now click on Properties (bottom left of window) or right click on Yamaha... Now click on Parameters & remove the check on DMA & auto insert.
Start with the CD-Rom first & Restart (You'll have no choice)
Now Try Microstudio to see if it's working properly after the 9th song.
If you wish to disable the DMA with the hard drive do the same but choose Hard Drive. Don't worry if the Hard Drive's DMA is disable, it will only slow down some application. It's the reason I suggest to do the CD-Rom first.

Take note Steve that the Yamaha burners are not 100% perfect with the graphic on CDG's. You might want to also slow down the reading speed at 30X

Let me know if it works
Michel

Smile Stand Alone burner

Steve,

you can get an external USB drive that read/burns CDG, the brand is Plextor. I suggest you see the model MTU has to offer, your able to buy it in the US I can't!!
Also, all the burners MTU sells are 100% CDG compatible, they take the time to test them before shipping.

Salut,
Michel
