Upgrade to latest version of Hoster

I purchased and enjoyed Hoster in 2004 and used it to host shows for a couple of years. I got out of it and I'm ready to get back in to hosting shows. I just purchased a new laptop that is using Windows 7 - Can I upgrade to the new version (for an upgrade price) or would I have to purchase the full version again?

what version ?, i think it's has to be 3.21 or newer, older than that you have to purchase the upgrade, and make sure you do all the necessary changes and custom updates, if you already have hoster installed in 2 comp. you have to removed one of them and you have to be on line..good luck

Yes you can perchase the Upgrade or the Full version.
If you go with the Upgrade you will have to do the following steps:
  1. Uninstall your older version from the old computer.
  2. Submit an Email Support Ticket through the main web page Support section.
  3. Wait for them to clear your registration on it. Make sure your email is not blocking MTU.com. You should get an auto-response email with your ticket number then after they fix it you will get another email saying it is fixed. This may take a few days.
  4. After you get it you will need to install the old version on the new computer. Be sure you are connected to the internet when you do this.
  5. Then order your Upgrade.
  6. Next install the upgrade using the Upgrade install instead of the Remove.
I would not open the older version of Hoster when you have it installed on your Laptop. Anything older than 3.316 will not work on Windows 7.

If you decide to buy the Full upgrade then all you have to do is install it on the new computer.

Billy as long as a user has a registered copy of Hoster then they can buy the upgrade.

Actually I was wondering if there was an UPGRADE version to purchase for my new computer of I need to purchase the FULL $200 version. I think I was at 3.09. On top of that my old laptop completely crashed so I can't uninstall it.

Re: Upgrade to latest version of Hoster

Yes there is an upgrade version for you to purchase. It is 4.20 and is listed in the Support section for $69.99.
Then in that case download the copy of 3.321 on the Support downloads if you do not have a copy of 3.09. You will still have to install a previous version on the new laptop to Upgrade to the newest. It is required now to have a previous version installed in order for the new upgrade to install.
You will also need to submit the Support ticket to reset your registration as I stated above before you can install. Be sure to explain in the ticket what you are needing to do.
