Burner for a laptop

I,m in the process off buying a laptop and want it to have a burner that will produce good quality CD-Gs using Microstudio.
Can you give me any suggestions? I'm having the laptop custom built...and I really don't want an external burner.

Please read our page about MTU CDG Certified drives to understand why CDG certification is important, and some of the considerations.

If you want any other drive, download the Microstudio demo and test the drive you want. We buy in large lots, and reject the drives that fail our certification testing. We only sell the drives that pass.

Bought an HP entertainment laptop with dual layer dvd burner and karaoke capability. It works fine. When looking for one just look at the small sticker lable on the PC if it says it will play karaoke, likely it will burn them also. Mine does.
