Newest Drivers

Is there a way to update just the drivers in an older version of Microstudio (2.312) so they will recognize a newer Plextor drive?

For some reason, my system will not accept the 2.4 version. I have payed for the 2.4 update (very reasonable) but when I try to install it, I get:

"An error occured in the move data process - Error 1612"

There is no way to just update "Drivers". The drivers are actually compiled into the .exe file as one file. So there is no way to just piece them together.

The next version of Microstudio will be using the newest Installshield, that may fix this error that you are having. This should be out in about a month.
