Moving My Song Files

I want to move my songs file from my C drive to my external 2TB hard drive. Is there any things special I need to do? Will future additions go to that location? Any hints will be recieved gladly...

Copy the files to your external drive, don't move them so if something goes wrong you will still have the originals. Then when all are copied ok, then you can delete them from the C drive.
Then you will need to change the folder in the rebuild database list to point to the external drive and remove the folder for the C drive from the list. Then rebuild the database.
One thing to remember is since you are using an external drive, be sure to power it up before you turn on the computer so it will keep the same drive letter.
As to importing new files, there is a setting in those import tools to tell it where to store newly imported files.
