Hardware Acceleration/MicroStudio 4.001

As recommended, I moved my hardware acceleration to NONE. Lyrics, music - all in sync in MicroStudio!

However,I don't use MicroStudio to play karaoke for guests. I use my trusty VocoPro player. (BTW, all my purchased karaoke play well in VocoPro.)

On that machine, the words of my newly burned karaoke scrolls approximately 3 seconds BEHIND the music.

How do I fix this? Will it be by trial and error? i.e.: Advancing hardware acceleration before BURNING the karaoke, or what?

I am using A Plextor Plexwriter Premium and PlexTools Professional XL.

Suggestions as to how I can keep from having to reset hardware acceleration for burn and playback .. .. .. .. ???

Try setting to Standard/Medium acceleration and playback in Microstudio to see if it is still behind. If not that should fix it for both play and burned copies. And yes it is going to be trial and error because every computer/video card setup is different.

Exactly what software are you using to burn discs with? If you are using PlexTools, we have no control over this.

If you are using Microstudio, we have never once heard of any disc being burned from Microstudio that had the lyrics offset.

What version of Microstudio are you using?

What is your Tools menu "Playback Offset" set to?

Also try upgrading your Firmware for that older Plextor drive from here http://www.plextor.com/english/suppo...m_Premium.html

Also, if none of what Admin Posted or myself, then try removing the PlexTools Software and then see what happens, when you burn a disc.

I believe any serious hardware accelleration problem, if that's what this is, needs to be set the old tried and true way, not in Microstudio. That works fine for temporary minor adjustments.

I'd set the one in Microstudio at 0..

Click start, run, type in dxdiag, o.k., then click on sound1, and if the slider is all the way to the right, move it two notches to the left for starters.

If that worsens the situation, or has no effect, it's probably not an audio accellerator problem.
