Question Disk ID not showing in Song Search Window

When my thousands of songs were imported into hoster 5.20 many listed the brand as "unknown" even though the brand was correct in my earlier version of hoster. Luckily, the discID was imported correctly. When I want a Sound choice version, I know to look at the diskID starting with sc, so all should be fine, but it is not.
Once I choose a song and place it in the cue, the diskID shows, but when I do a song search it does not. I right clicked the top bar of the song search window and it allows me to check or uncheck duration, artist etc. This changes the search window correctly, but when I check or uncheck diskID it does nothing. The disk ID does not show up in the song search which means I have to add the song to the cue before I know what the diskID is. This seems to be a bug in the program? Why would some check boxes work and not others? Is there a way I could see the diskID in the song search window?

Re: Disk ID not showing in Song Search Window

In the search dialog right click on the header column and you should see a list of tick boxes for you to choose which columns to show.

Re: Disk ID not showing in Song Search Window

I did see the tick boxes. Sorry I was not more clear. That is what I meant when I said I right clicked on the top of the search window. Ticking them on and off works for bookID, Artist, Title, but when I tick DiskID on or off it does nothing. It never shows me the diskID.

Re: Disk ID not showing in Song Search Window

Sorry my bad, not reading your post properly.

I think that what may have happened is it is sized too small. Try this slowly move the curser across the header bar as it approaches the beginning of a column it should change to a cross hair curser if the column is active but not seen then a slight movement right of the column should change the cross to a split cross hair, as soon as you see the change to split left click and drag right to the size you want.
See how you get on with that.

Re: Disk ID not showing in Song Search Window

I did what you asked and had trouble at first. Then I unchecked all except diskID and there was the tiny line like you suspected. I enlarged it and now it all works great.
Over the years I have needed little help with Hoster. When I did this forum has always had the answers I was looking for and when it did not, my postings were always answered. The best part of Hoster is the support.
Thank you so much for your help.

Rich
