Asterisk showing in "Place of lyrics" screen

I use Asterisk "*" to split words into syllables. This worked great for me until I upgraded to KHPro 5.01. In the previous version I was using the asterisks were only visible in the "Edit Lyrics" screen and wouldn't not be visible in the "Place Lyrics" screen. This made deciding what size font to use simple because the asterisks were not adding to the length of the text. Now with KHPro 5.01 the asterisks are visible in the "Place Lyrics" screen. This is very frustrating to me trying to figure out how long the lines actually are and what font to use. I wish now I would've never upgraded to KHPro 5.01.

I see what you mean, I don't think the asterisk shows in the Play final screen though.

You can still go back to your previous version if you prefer it as long as you have the original installation file.
