Is KHPro 4.105 compatible with microstudio 2.613?

Hey All,
Just a note.
I used KHPro today with great expectations only to be frustrated.
I downloaded lyrics for John Prine's "Ain't Hurting Nobody".
Edited them in notepad and imported them together with the vocally reduced Vogone music.
A breeze, easy tune with a little rhythmically tapping.
Exported the resulting file to bin. now you can't export a cdg file.
First problem in Microstudio "Bin. extentions may not contain cdg karaoke information and may not play or write properly"
Mine did, I just created them hadn't I?
Went ahead and burnt a disc.
Played it in Microstudio, sound was distorted and horror some of the lines of text were missing making the whole thing out of sync.
Checked KHPro yes I had done everything correctly and everything scanned.
Burnt 3 more discs at varying speeds and on different media.
Same result every time.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I ran it again with the old version of KHPro, exported to cdg. everything perfect.
Is there a glitch somewhere?
Regards from across the pond
Garry
