Ipods/MP3 Players

Has anyone used a ipod/mp3 player along side hoster in their shows?

I've been thinking of getting on to use for buffer music/videos while waiting on the singers to get to the stage, and maybe during the breaks as well.

I was wondering if say a Ipod would play the music/videos through the mixer on a different channel so I could just fade it out as I wish.

Thanks, Tim

Only one way to find out....try it. I don't think it would hurt the Ipod.

Iopds/MP3 player

Silly question maybe but can you change the tempo of the song on an Ipod? I use this frequently for dance classes. This is normally done through the software.

nope you can not change the tempo of the song from the ipod..you need to get a dj mixer in order to change the beat ( make the song go slow or fast to a beat of a chipmunk ) or a dj software to change the tempo from rock to a tango..
