Do you have DIRECTX9.1 or higher installed? Microstudio requires that to run properly.

To check which version you have, click START, RUN, type in DXDIAG, click OK.

When the program has finished loading, it will tell you on the bottom of the first page what version of DIRECTX you have installed.

If less than the needed version, you can go to the Microsoft website and downoad the latest version for your operating system..

Hope this helps.

George

Also, what kind of CD-R drive do you have? Is it a Plextor brand of drive?

I have DirectX 9.0c

The drive LG CD-RW CED-8080B 1.04 came with my Dell computer
Dimension 8100.
This worked before like last week and now it won't.
There was some updates made for windows.
I don't know if that's got anything to do with it.

Thanks again for replies

Your drive is the problem. You need to have a Plextor brand of drive that correctly supports the CD+G format.

This is the only way to fix your problem, you didn't test the drive before, and it doesn't work with the CD+G format, even though it states Yes.

Question

MTUSUPPORT,
I am having this same problem with Microstudio now. I have Plextor drive, I just upgraded to v.2.611 (should be 2.612 but when I tried downloading 2.612 it gave me 2.611) .......anyway, when I play any cdg in Microstudio now I get no graphics display. The screen appears for a split second and then dissappears. Never had a problem before. If I needed to upgrade DirectX when I upgraded Microstudio I didn't. Please let me know what could be causing this.
Thanks,
Wally
