I don't know... why are you posting in the Forums instead of researching it?

Search our Knowledge Base where this is answered, or search the Forums as it has been answered many times. There is no "simple" answer. You must find out why your computer installation is not allowing you to do what thousands of other users have done... install using a Floppy or Memory Stick.

Yes, you have been wise and have Norton Ghost to fall back on while you research what might be wrong.

For one thing your registration for 2.613 will not work for the 3.004
You need to get the correct registration from your store account.

Check your firewall as this may be blocking the connection needed to register.

FUENGIROLA

Go to the folder where you download your MTU products.

If you are using the regular default, it should be:

c:\program files\Micro Technology Unlimited

Find your mstudio3000setup.exe file and install it. I believe you had it at one time, if I can remember your deleted post.

DO NOT USE A FLOPPY IF YOU ARE ON LINE. I think that set this whole affair in motion. You mentioned using a floppy in your first post, but were on line.

If you install successfully, then open Microstudio, click help, click anything referring to checking the MTU site. The verbage is different than my 2611, but will mean the same.

You will be directed to a download page...just click download 3004 and you should get it.

If you don't have a 3000, you could reinstall your 2613 instead and do the same thing, or wait for the next 3xxx series to come out and download it in the same manner. You may have to click BUY instead of Download

Hope this gets it for you.
