Smile Singers DB Empty

I created a show selecting songs and inputting the singers name. when I go to look at the singers database, it is empty. Looked in the manual and can\\\'t find the answer.

Had unchecked the add singers to database when adding a song in the settings.

How are you adding singers to the playlist? From the search window you should click on the yellow plus button at the top right side of the page to add the selected song to the singers list of songs. This will place the song in the playlist as well as in the singers list.

Re: Singers DB Empty

Figured out what was happening. I inadvertently unchecked the box to add singers to the database when putting a song in the queue.

That will solve your problem but it places every song/singer in the singer data base. If you do it like I suggested, you control what singers you want to have song lists for. I don\'t like to have the box ticked to add every singer because I get many singers that are not regulars to my shows and it just makes the singer data base to long for my taste. This is why Hoster is so great, it gives us many options like what we are talking about.
