Do you have a burner that is compatible with CDG karaoke discs?

Burning and playing karaoke discs requires a CD burner that can read & write CDG files.

Check on mtu.com and find the list of compatible burners that will work with microstudio, or do a search on this forum on this subject.

You also don't mention any other brands. Have you played/copied any other brands with success?

Go into Microstudio and click on DETECT DRIVES. That will give you a yes or a no regarding CDG capability for any of your cd/cdr drives.

This may also be a MediaCloq CDG, which Microstudio and Hoster won't read. If it is MediaCloq, it will be written on the disc somewhere, usually circularly around the hole in the middle.
