Question BAD read speed

Hi there...

I have a Plextor PX-W4624A USB drive....
I have a little problem with the read speed of the CD+G disks.

My CD-R burns faster then it reads...
i installed a USB 2.0 PCI card and the burning prossec got a lot faster. But the reading process is still as slow as before.

Do you guys have any idea of what i can look at or maybe do a change so it also read faster ??

/Micke

What is the time that it is taking for it to read the disk? This drive takes and average of 8-10 minutes for a full Karaoke CD.

The newer 52x drives can actually read the same disc in 3 1/2-4 1/2 minutes instead.
