cdr not reading Plex 1610
I found with V2.103 your cdr will see cdg in the player but won't record. You need Microstudio 2.2(new version)then it will record. I had problems recording at 16X speed myself, let me know what happens with this fix.

Need Microeditor V2.200 Software for Plextor CDR Drives
You need to download the newer Microstudio Version 2.200 to run your new Plextor drive. It is a free upgrade.
Go to; http://www.mtu.com/support/download-sw.htm to get it. The email we sent you with download instructions has everything you need to get V2.200. |

TommyMac,
Make sure that you have updated to DirectX 8.0. You can check it by doing the following: 1. Click the Start Menu and the Run command 2. Type in DXDIAG and click the OK Button 3. This will open the DirectX DIAGnostic program that will gather and show data about your computer 4. At the bottom you should see a line that shows the following DirectX Version: DirectX 8.0 [4.08.00.0400] You can download DirectX 8.0 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/r...eleaseID=27741 If this doesn't fix your problem, then your Video card may not handle the 320 X 200 display resolution Microstudio uses to play Karaoke. The next version of Microstudio should have some updated Error checking to better find this problem.

Tommy Mac, read this link http://mtu.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?threadid=501 about your 2 error messages. Your video generator (probably SiS video built on your motherboard) cannot handle the 320 x 200 resolution Microstudio sets the video to when playing (returning to your standard resolution when play ends). The thread above gives suggestions at the bottom.
