Sound Choice Gem series importing

How do I get the title/artist info from these discs into hoster? They are mp3+g files on cd. 30 songs per disc. 20 discs on the Emerald 1 set.

You will first need to copy the files to your hard drive and index them from the hard drive as I don't believe that type can be imported from disc yet. If the Artist/Title are in the MP3 meta tag then Hoster should be able to pull that information from there. If it isn't then that information would need to be in the file name.

Re: Sound Choice Gem series importing

I just loaded the entire Gem into mine. Go to Import HD Files and select KMA/MP3G, then find your CD-Rom drive. Set your format to Disc- Track _-_ Artist _-_ Title, then Import them as you would other CD's...

That was the main problem with the GEM's I understand is the way they named the files. Someone said Lupas Rename will get rid of the dashes very quickly and replace with spaces. However you do need to do that before you add them to Hoster. So you'd want to copy the files to your hard drive, rename them, add them to Hoster as kma files. So delete the existing KMA files (just for the GEM tracks, not your KMA files you might have alread had) that you already imported once you are ready to reimport.
