Question squealing

I just downloaded the trial version and attempted to open a song in cdg. All I got was a lot of squealing and the beeps the software said to expect. I know the file works in ************ so it's not a bad file. What am I doing wrong?

I split this and moved it to the correct Forum for Keyrite 2.

Please post here where you got the .cdg file from? Is it a MP3+G .cdg file? If so, the .cdg file has no audio in it, only lyrics/graphics.

Keyrite will only process a karaoke .cdg file imported from a CDG disc using MTU's Microstudio, which contains the audio and lyrics/graphics. It is not enabled to process .mp3 audio files.

Keyrite will also process .wav audio files that have no lyrics/graphics data.

I look forward to your answer. I have not heard of this problem before so I'm very interested in your reply to see if we should make a change to Keyrite 2.009.

It sounds as if you are trying to process a MP3+G file. This will occur with this type of file, as it does not have the correct data that Keyrite needs.
