OK I give.
 But when most people refer to ripping it is usually to MP3. And since the title of Oncall's thread here is "New to Digital Karaoke" you might confuse him by calling it ripping instead of importing. I know there are quite a few who insist on converting all of their CDGs to MP3+G.
