I installed every step as you have stated. Even successfully burned a couple cdg copys. After trying the player for one song invalid page fault now every time i try to use any of my program illegal operation will be shut down
microstudio worked. Used play tab for one song worked well. Second time i pushed it locked up page fault. Now the program incites illegal opperation.

Ok it's alive again I redid the aspi drivers again
I was amazed that it worked on the old drivers then quit

ASPI Again!

I'm glad to see you are now running.

I wish Microsoft would solve the ASPI problem within Windows where it should be handled. There appears to have been a major "falling out" between Microsoft and Adaptec. Adaptec has been the supplier of the ASPI driver for years. Now they are saying "IDE/UDMA" drives "don't exist"! That is their business decision, and now I hope Microsoft will step in and provide what should be "built-in".
