Vogon and KHP Songs not going to folder
Both programs show no songs in the folder. However going through My computer to the C:drive the songs are there. This is a new purchase and installation. When installed, I would expect the programs to download the correct path for the songs to go from Micro Studio to Vogon and or KHP. I am not a computer expert so please keep reply's simple like the books for computer dummies. Thanks

Re: Vogon and KHP Songs not going to folder
Larry,
In Microstudio you have to tell it where your files are stored. On the play page you would click on USE HARD DRIVE, then click on SELECT FOLDER. You then direct the program to the folder where your files are stored using the drop down box that opens up. For example if you created a folder called SONGLIST directly on C:, you would click on the arrow in the box that opens, then click on c:, then click on SONGLIST, then click SELECT. This is generally a one time procedure, as the setting usually remains persistant when you install future upgrades. If for any reason you choose to store different genres of music in different folders(country in one and pops in another, for example) then you'd have to direct Microstudio to the correct folder. VOGONE and KEYRITE are somewhat different. On both of them you click on SELECT INPUT FILE, then using the box that opens, you direct the program to where the material you want to work on is stored. You repeat this process each time you use VOGONE or KEYRITE. On KARAOKE HOME PRODUCER , when you click on ADD MUSIC, you direct the program to the folder where the music you wish to use is stored, using the box that opens. Hope this helps get you started. Re: Vogon and KHP Songs not going to folder
Larry,
That's because Keyrite will change keys on either CDG or .WAV tracks and CDG is the default in the box that opens in Keyrite. The Songlist doesn't contain any CDG files yet, because you probably haven't saved any there, so it appears to be empty. Click on the arrow next to the FILES OF TYPE block in the pop up box, and select .WAV You should then see your regular audio(.WAV) tracks in your Songlist. Take care, George |

Re: Vogon and KHP Songs not going to folder
GEORGE,
The tracks are going to the folder C:\songlist, they can be found through windows explorer, KHP, Vogon and (Keyrite only as a wave file) See Below Micro Studio Play Click add track = C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty. Play Click select folder = C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty. Duplicate Disc Click select folder = C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty. Custom Assembly Click select folder = C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty. Custom Assembly Click add track from hard drive=C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty. KHP Click add music = C:\songlist folder pops up and the tracks are there. Vogon Click select output file=C:\songlist floder pops up & the tracks are there. Keyrite Click select input file = C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty. But if you select wave files C:\songlist folder pops and the tracks are there. Maby I'm a computer dummy, but logic says if tracks are in C:\songlist they should be found their in all the #*^(#!) programs. After 2 weeks it's getting realy fustrating. Need to make disks for a show next week. Thats why I bought this package. I would think these programs would be designed to plug and in an go. Presently Verrrrrrry disapointed in my $500.00 purchase. |

Re: Vogon and KHP Songs not going to folder
Larry,
Judging from your post above, it appears the programs are working as they should. I can only suggest you stop running from one program to another, focus on one at a time, spend time in the manual, and learn one program at a time. George |

Re: Vogon and KHP Songs not going to folder
Are you sure that you clicked the CDG button to import the cdg and not the WAV button. Even so, in MicroStudio you must type in the song name. If you have Hoster and use it properly and you don't have to type except in Custom assembly. But you have to read the manual.
I also agree that you study the program and read the manual. Last edited by admin; February 22nd, 2005 at 09:06 AM. |

Re: Vogon and KHP Songs not going to folder
From what you have told us in this last post
Quote:
Go back to Microstudio, and Import your files in as .cdg. If this is what they were supposed to be imported as. Micro Studio Play Click add track = C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty. MTUSUPPORT ADDED: This will only show .cdg files. If you imported as a .wav file, it will not show here. Play Click select folder = C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty.MTUSUPPORT ADDED: This will not show any files. It only allows you to select the Directory to save the files in. Duplicate Disc Click select folder = C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty.MTUSUPPORT ADDED: This will not show any files. It only allows you to select the Directory to save the files in. Custom Assembly Click select folder = C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty. MTUSUPPORT ADDED: This will only show .cdg files. If you imported as a .wav file, it will not show here. Custom Assembly Click add track from hard drive=C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty. MTUSUPPORT ADDED: This will only show .cdg files. If you imported as a .wav file, it will not show here. Unless you have Audio CD selected as the Disc Format. Then you should see these files that you have imported. KHP Click add music = C:\songlist folder pops up and the tracks are there.MTUSUPPORT ADDED: This will only show .wav files. This is why you see the files here. Vogon Click select output file=C:\songlist floder pops up & the tracks are there.MTUSUPPORT ADDED: This will only show .wav files. This is why you see the files here. Keyrite Click select input file = C:\songlist folder pops up but is empty. But if you select wave files C:\songlist folder pops and the tracks are there. MTUSUPPORT ADDED: This will only show .cdg files, when the Files of Type is set to .cdg. If you imported as a .wav file, it will not show here, unless you change the Files of Type to .wav.
