Changing keys in Microstudio recordings
This year we went on a cruise. We took along our traveling CDG's with our favorite songs. On the label, along each song we would have -1, -2, 0 etc. whatever the song key needed to be changed to. Some nights they would have a person who knew how to change the keys, and some nights they would have a different person who did not know how to change the keys. What do I need to do to make up a traveling CDG where I can change the key of the songs I want changed and record them? That way if someone doesn't know how, or their machine doesn't have the capability to change keys, then it's not a problem. I can't find anything in Microstudio on how to do this, or if it can be done.
Thanks, Ernie |

Try Keyrite instead. It would be much easier with it than with Microstudio. You load the file, set the key you want and save it. The program saves the file at the new key, then burn them to disc with Microstudio.
To do it in Microstudio you would have to start the song playing, change the key then save the recorded song. That is the hard way to do it.
