mtu and vista

just upgraded to vista uktimate
and my mtu software wont load eg keyrite and microstudio
get message un handled exception code x8004072
loooks like mtu products wont work on vista
please tell me im wrong thanks

Late this week we released a new version of all programs except Microstudio (we are nearing release of 4.0 for that). You need to get these to run on MODERN COMPUTERS and Vista. The problem actually is NOT Vista, but changes in computers now being shipped.

You can get the new versions free if you have been keeping updated. Run the product (on your prior computer in your case), click Help menu, Check for Updates. The web page that appears has a DOWNLOAD button that will deliver the latest version.

im on vista which i put on my pc after format so how am i supposed to up grade when i cant in stall my present microstudio/
further more mtu says my email is in correct
also i have only put it on one pc
dont see what the prob is there
after all i own it dont i?or is that a myth

Can you tell us how "mtu" says your email is incorrect? What are you trying to do where you are seeing this?

i get the message when i try to ibstall from my account
but you have not explained how i can upgrade when i cant install my mtu
or keyriteon my pc. dont know how you figured ive in stall on two copmputers ive only one desktop and one laptop.can you tell me in detail how i can install on vista thanks

"Upgrade" is a relative term. The download is a full install. as well as an upgrade.

Then you had an older version. We only have the latest version available. I'm sorry you didn't save your older downloaded file to a CDROM as we instruct all the time.

You will need to buy the Keyrite upgrade to get a new RegCode. Or, read this FAQ and find the right RegCode in your MTU Store Account.

Save the file this time.
