Microstudio 2.605 Bug!
Hi,
When creating custom assembies if you have already created one and attempt to create a second (or third, ect) you receive the error "The project is too long. Delete some tracks, then lower the Max: field value." In order to create your second assembly you must first close Microstudio then reopen and again add the tracks to your assembly. Seems that the custom assembly queue is not getting flushed when you click delete or remove all from your previous custom assembly. Just thought the folks at MTU would like to know in case they were not already aware. Thanks, T |

Re: Microstudio 2.605 Bug!
Don't believe there's any bug in the program
You must have something glitching at your end. I just intentionally went overtime on a custom assembly project, got the too long message, removed a track, saved the project, did not close Microstudio, opened the project list, duplicated the project three more times with different names, all without any incident. If you're expecting Microstudio to clear a project after you've burned it, that will not happen. The project will be saved for future use unless you delete the .lst file from your songlist, or wherever you save yours. take care, George |

This problem is not unique.
I'm using version 2.605 also. I backed up several muti-session discs today using custom assy. I recieved the same error message (project is too long) usually on the 3rd or 4th track and had to restart Microstudio to make a disc. I was very careful to delete the CDG files from the song list folder between burns and from the recycle bin as well. Makes no difference. I made a song list folder in a bigger partition and used it as my CDG temp folder. It didn't help. Is this a problem unique to this version? This is an older thread, I hope it still gets someones attention. Any solutions to this?

Folks, Version 2.605 was released July 27, 2004. It is a discontinued product. Upgrade to the 2.613 version please.
