nVidea 7900 GT 256 mB PCI video card

I have an nVidea 7900 GT. My shuttle's native display is 1280 x 800. However, I only have two options for the second display screen: 1024x728 and 800x600. As you can see with the 1024x728, there is a little bit missing on the second display. I have searched everywhere for other choices of displays but must be missing something. There has GOT to be more than two choices. My drivers are updated.

Anyone deal with this card or know about nVidea cards to advise me on how to get more options to my second display?

Please?

I use nvidia cards on almost all of my machines.
but i use the fx models, not the GT.
never had that problem, in fact.
my dell inspiron9300 with nvidia 6800 go. allows you to see video on your laptop screen as well as tv. at the same time.
only one i found that will do that. Bob

Ya, all my other machines have much more basic cards and have a number of choices for second display?

Check nVivia's site

The nVidia website lists driver version 169.21 as the latest and greatest for your card. I don't know if you are using the one from Microsoft. You might try going to nVidias site and getting their driver.

I read the documentation on it and it seems to support numerous screen resolutions.

Here's the link http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_169.21_whql.html have a read of the documentation and try it. It might help.

Good luck

Yeah, I got that driver recently. However, it still lists only 3 (800x600, 960x800, ans 1024x728) for the second display. it has about 8 other options for the computer screen, though, and we set that at (1280x1024). But we are trying to get both displays at the same resolution.

But not enough options that even match the computer display, bummer, right?
