Best songs in the last year (2007)

Hi all! I find this forum to be really helpful. I was a very busy kJ for about 5 years and really kept current and have a pretty good library of songs. I went back to school beginning this year and really just focused on being a dj for weddings and added the karaoke if people wanted it. I haven't updated for a long time and now am getting some calls from the local bar about doing karaoke there once a month (in the past I was working 4 nights a week and then some on weekends, and with an 18 hr. course load...it ain't possible)...well..I need to know what songs that came out in the past year have been big requests at your gigs and that I should have in my library. I am basically current up to December 2006/January 2007. Your help is greatly appreciated. I just don't want to buy every disc that came out in the past year (there are some real clunkers out there and at $20-30 a pop....easy to waste money in a hurry).
