CDRecorders

Was wondering whether there is a difference in the IDE and USB recorders other than speed. I tend to record at 1x or 2x to ensure playing ability on most players. Other than speed, is there a difference in choosing IDE vs. USB. I am looking at USB as it is external and almost all computers have that ability. Otherwise, I may need to find assistance in mounting drive in my computer.

Karen,
The USB recorders are outside the computer and the IDE drives mount internally in the computer. Speed really is aobut the only difference between these drives.

You should be fine with either drive that you pick, as long as it has been certified by MTU to copy Karaoke.
