How long to change the key

How long should it take for a song to be tranposed? Whenever I try to change the key it just keeps running (I've waited up to 20 minutes). How long should I wait?

Something's wrong. It runs faster than realtime, so unless you have a 40 minute long song, 20 minutes is... something wrong.

What version do you have?

What computer speed are you running?

What Windows verison (98, ME, 2000, XP... )?

How much RAM do you have installed?

All these can affect performance. The latest version is very fast. In fact, it is the real-time key changer in Hoster, and the upcoming Microstudio 4.0.

Which is it XP or 2000? I suspect you mean 2000 but they are two separate operating systems.
224 MB of ram is way too small and that may be why it is taking so long to change the key of a song.
