Question adjusting the seconds before the music starts

Hi, New To The Forum. A Karaoke Disc (maestro) Usually Takes Approx 15 Seconds Before It Actually Starts Playing The Music.

I Would Like To Know How I Can Adjust The Seconds To A Shorter Period, Say Like 3 Seconds Before It Starts?? Tks. M

When you are playing directly from a Disc, Microstudio has to read and attempt to correctly load the file before it can start playing. If your disc is dirty or slightly scratched then this time will actually increase as Microstudio tries to read and correct the data. There is no way to adjust this time.
If you want it to play faster, I would suggest you import the files to your hard drive and play them from there.

shorting song time before it plays the song

hate to sound dumb, but i hae been using the crwin and you are able to do that, meaning to remove those extra seconds before the song begins. it's not a precise method, but can be done., so i had heard that microstudio is able to do that. couldn't find it anywhere in the manual though?

i hope you're understanding what i wanted? tks for your response. manny

I understand what you are trying to do. However, first you need to understand that Microstudio is not designed to do shows. It is a tool for working with/on your karaoke or audio files instead. Hoster is the show software and though it currently does not have cuing capability, that is one of the items that has been asked for and is being looked at for version 4.000 by MTU.
ANd just to make it clear I am just a user of MTU programs like you and not an employee of MTU.

Seconds Adjustment

Thanks For The Info. You've Been Very Helput And I Highly Appreciate It. Nice Having People Like You Who Are Will To Lend A Hand To Dummies Like Me. I Will Look Into That Hoster Program.

If It's Too Expensive To Get, Then I'll Just To Go Back To My Crwin Program. Thanks So Much Again. Manny

I"m interested what CDRWIN does that allows you to specify how much to chop off the front end?

1. Is it a value you can select to start playing XX seconds into the file, which applies to every file?

2. Or is it an audio trigger that "listens" for when the audio starts?

3. Or is it some other way?
