Time code sync

Is there a way, other than the Micro Sync board, to have Microeditor 5.2 sync to incoming midi time code? I know that with version 2.x I was able to use a MQX Midi Card. I am currently only using Krystal I/O, no I/O box.

Thanks

Lee

The short and long answer-

The short answer is no.

I have successfully synced Krystal to TC using Microsync, however:

Krystal appears to sync correctly with video via Microsync. It will also "jam" to incoming TC in this mode (i.e., it won't adjust speed like the I/O box would, but it will start playback in sync with incoming TC), which works fine as long as all devices are locked to video and/or wordclock. In addition, you can trigger recording through Krystal with TC, and the same rules apply as with playback above.....

Once using Krystal, these are the limitations, but they are still functional.
