NOT A WAVE FILE
TOO SMALL NOT A WAVE FILE. HELLO ANYONE LISTENING
quote: Any song that is an actual wave file would be 20,000 or more kb or about 20 mb or more. Any such wave file could be burned onto a disc by microstudio using the Audio CD option in the "Custom Assembly" flap. No graphics will be present. You will notice that only wave files are available to be chosen once "Audio CD" has been selected. CDG files are almost exactly the same size, BIG, as wave files. Because of graphics, some size is added |

Hmmmm!!!
I think someone may be having a good laugh on us. Dart girl answered most of our questions on her fourth post and we have continued to speculate.

3.05mb 367mb 8.01mb? file length? Like George and Admin suggested, a simple telephone call to her “friend” would have answered the question. In any event, it appears to be an illegal file. I am out of this thread. Good luck to the rest of you. Regards, Jon Last edited by jaddams; May 11th, 2003 at 09:52 PM. |

I'm certainly new to all this. Since there was even a remote possibility the files I received, COULD be ILLEGAL, I had NO desire to keep them, nor do I wish to do so, and Deleted what I had on my Hard Drive. I could not contact the individual, ie: to ask what kind of files they were, for I met her in Denver on a trip, and have since lost contact. I had these songs on my computer for nearly a year. Sorry for all the mess & aggrevation I feel I've caused, for my lack of knowledge on all of this.

if it plays in winamp it could be an MP3+G which Admn says is an illegal file type.

Back on this thread
Yep, I'm back on this thread just to tell Dart Girl.
Way to go! You did the right thing. Since you have MicroStudio, don't hesitate to come back if you have other problems. You may consider buying Kpro, which allow you to make custom karaoke disks that will play in any karaoke machine in addition to your computer. Here a link with more information. http://www.mtu.com/karaoke-products.htm Good luck, Jon |

Dart Girl,
No aggravation here, just didn't seem to be going anywhere. Be glad to help if need be in the future. George |
