Question Mode No Support

Well, i've managed to write CDGs and successfully record them to a disk in Microstudio.
When i play it back on my computer, there is a big blue box that says "Mode No Support" obscuring the screen.
I've searched around the forum and tried a number of things that seemed tangentially related, but no success.

any ideas?

thanks in advance

Assuming you're trying to play a copy of a CDG from the drive, are you using the CDR drive, and not the CDROM drive? Most CDROM drives won't read CDG.

If you're using the CDR drive, will the original you copied from play, audio and graphics? Does the audio only play from the copy? Support is also going to need to know the "Vital Statistics" regarding your p.c: operating system, processor/speed, CDR brand and model, DirectX8.1 installed, which version of Microstudio, have the up to date drivers been downloaded from the burner manufacturer? Give support as much info as you can.

Also, at the beginning of the Microstudio open forum, there's a post by Support regarding ASPI drivers, and how to install the correct ones. It might be the problem.

Hope this helps,

George

Buff,
This is a new error. I have never heard of this before in Micsrostudio. Is this when you are trying to use the Player? If so then please make sure that you have DirectX 8.1 installed on your computer form Microsoft. Also make sure that you have updated the drivers for your video card to support DirectX 8.1, you can do this form the manufacturer's website.
