I have a plextor premium burner...this is recognized on my device manager, but when i go to "import tracks" tab, NOTHING shows under "detect drives". Why is microstudio not recognizing my burner?

Spunky,
Please try updating your ASPI drivers to the Adaptec Ones. Download the File that I have attached to this post and Run the aspiinst.exe file. It should then install the updated drivers to your system.

This file is for Windows 98SE, ME and 2000. It will not work for XP. If you need help for XP, go to this FAQ. Click here for XP.

Once you download this file and Run it. Make sure that you do the following:

Go to the Start Menu, Find (or Search). Search for the File Winaspint.dll, this file should be found on the C:\Windows\System32 directory. Once the file is found, rename it by Right clicking on the File name in the Search Window. Reaname the file to winaspint.old. Then close the Search.

Now Open Microstudio, Click on the Tools Menu, ASPI Drivers. Change the seledtion to Use the Default driver. Then click Ok.

Now Reboot Your computer. Once the system comes back up into Windows You should now see the drives showing.

Spunky,
If that didn't work, then please go to the Adaptec Site to download the latest version of ASPI drivers. This is described at: http://www.mtu.com/kb/index.php?page=index_v2&id=23&c=1

Try solution #2 and then 3 if that doesn't work.
