Hoster not responding issue

Hi I have an issue where my Hoster keeps giving me the spinning wheel and 'not responding' issue when I'm adding a new song. This happens whether one is currently being played and I'm lining up the next ones, or if I'm just adding songs in preparation. If someone is singing at the time I try this their words break up/go off for a few seconds, usually with the music still playing. This doesn't happen every time I do it, but it seems to happen more often? I've also had the same problem when I have loaded a track from a customers own disc. While they are singing if I try to add songs from my list it interrupts what's playing, every time in this case.

If it's helpful I am running Hoster 5.41.04 with Windows 7 Pro, 8GB RAM, Intel i5 M520 processor 2.40GHz 64 bit. My laptop hard drive is a Toshiba MK2561GYSN 250GB with 150GB free but my karaoke files are not on this. They are on my external drive which is a Maxter basics 150GB of which 55GB is currently used. My CD drive is a HP DVD-ROM DT31N. My display adapter is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 540v

I have recently removed Hoster and re-installed it, and all my Windows updates are up to date.

Any suggestions please? :-)
Sharon
