Question error message

After I imported approximately 200 songs to my hard drive, I am occasionally receiving an error box after I compile my custom cd. I click on write cd an get a "cue sheet" error at line 4, 7, or 19. Mostly at line 19. The cd will not burn at this point. I am running windows me. Anyone have any suggestions?

thanks,

Give the ASPI drivers download posted at the beginning of this forum a shot, and see if that helps. Don't overlook switching to the default drivers, as mentioned. It's easy to overlook.

Hope this gets it for you.

Thanks for the suggestion, however I am still having the same problem. If I import files and immediately send all the files to the custom tab, I have no problem, but burning the songs now on my hard drive is. Do you have any other suggestion?

Jim,
How full is your hard drive, I have a 60gig and if I get within 1.5gig of full I get problems.
Just a thought.

Thanks, but I have about 13.9gig of empty space. Sometimes I can do this, and sometimes I just can't.

Talking error message solved

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Brian Cox. I received a solution to my problem today. Brian's suggestion that I could have possibably had a corrupt cdg file was great.

What it turned out to be was I had 4 songs that didn't tranfer any data. As I tried to add to the custom tab one song at a time i noticed these particular songs had 0 time duration noted!! Once I deleted these songs my remaining 15 songs burned without problem.

Boy do I feel foolish!! Again thanks to all who tried to help. I have unfortunately read some not so flattering things about the support for this program, however I AM VERY HAPPY!!!
