Setup of new PX-716A...playback problems

I just purchased a new px-716A Plexwriter. I have the newest 2.61 version of microstudio installed. The writer works, however when I play CD+g's recorded with my previous writer plexwriter , The audio is garbeled and the words to not move in time to the music. Do I use the MTU ASPI drivers or the default ones?
